This idyllic grade 2 listed cottage nestles in the valley beneath Pickering Castle.

Number 16 offers picturesque views of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and is within a three minute walk of the historic market town of Pickering.

Ground floor underfloor heating, with original quarry tiles. The wood burning stove is perfect for a cosy night in as well as a gas combi boiler which offers constant hot water on demand.  Wifi.

Lounge:  Comfy reclining armchairs, original fireplace with wood burning stove, TV and DVD player.

Kitchen: Breakfast bar with 2 chairs, fully fitted modern units with 4 ring electric induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Bedroom: Double bed that can convert to twin beds, built in wardrobe space, TV and radio alarm clock. Linen and towels provided.

Bathroom:  Large walk in shower with dual shower head, heated towel rail, toilet and wash basin.

Garden: A quirky terraced garden,  slightly detached from the house, can be found at back of cottage.

Parking: Parking spaces are situated opposite the property at High Mill.

The cottage has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. Careful restoration took place using traditional building methods and materials in order to preserve the original features of the grade 2 listed cottage while maximising energy efficiency. The cottage boasts all of the modern comforts within a traditional Yorkshire home.
