Cheryl & Mike run this family business in the lovely Yorkshire market town of Pickering, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. We pride ourselves on our consistent high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail and annually have an independent inspection to confirm those standards have been maintained. We are fully Covid 19 compliant with Visit England's 'Good to Go' standard of management and cleaning.
Built in the valley below Pickering Castle and attached to the earliest recorded mill in Pickering. High Mill has unique and unrivalled views of the scenic North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
We have three cottages: The extensively refurbished Victorian High Mill House (sleeps up to 7 for 2021).
The Limes cottage (sleeps 2), built on the site of the old stables.
No. 16 (sleeps 2), completely renovated grade 2 listed cottage, situated opposite High Mill.
Our self-catering accommodation provides an excellent base for exploring moors, coast and Yorkshire's finest attractions. Comprehensive information is provided about the many and varied attractions, walks and activities within easy reach.

Children are very welcome, but please note that the garden is bordered by the Mill Leat (stream) on one side and the railway on the other. A safe fenced area is provided in front of the house, but it is your responsibility to supervise young children at all times when outside the property.
