Cheryl & Mike run this family business in the lovely Yorkshire market town of Pickering, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. We pride ourselves on our consistent high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail and annually pay Quality in Tourism for an independent inspection to confirm those standards have been maintained.
Built in the valley below Pickering Castle and attached to the earliest recorded mill in Pickering. High Mill has unique and unrivalled views of the scenic North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
We have two cottages: The extensively refurbished Victorian High Mill House (sleeps up to 12).
The Limes cottage (sleeps 2), built on the site of the old stables.
Our four-star self-catering accommodation provides an excellent base for exploring moors, coast and Yorkshire's finest attractions. Comprehensive information is provided about the many and varied attractions, walks and activities within easy reach. The award-winning Tourist Information Centre is only a short walk away too.
